A new year means new adventures, and my pack wasted no time hitting the trails! Hoping for some epic mountain views, we headed to Mt Falcon Park—a favorite spot for taking in both the rugged peaks to the west and the city skyline to the east. And did I mention the ruins? This park is packed with history, making it a great option for explorers of all ages (and species)!

Trail Conditions: As of 1/1/25, mixed clear and icy, traction recommended but may not be necessary
Route Breakdown
West Trailhead → Castle Trail → Tower Trail → Meadow Trail → Castle Trail → Walker’s Dream Trail → Castle Trail → Back to parking lot
This route lets you see some of the park’s biggest highlights, including the ruins of a once-planned Summer White House!
