While the falls may not be dramatic in winter, the serene, icy river and peaceful atmosphere make it all worthwhile. Snow's Take
I absolutely loved the foggy vibe of this hike! The misty forest, icy river, and serene atmosphere made it feel like something out of a snow pup’s dream. While the falls may not have been as dramatic as usual, the peaceful setting was more than enough to make up for it. If you visit on a clear day, you might get some gorgeous canyon views, but I’ve got to say—the fog made this hike extra magical. Just be sure to take it slow, especially with all the icy patches!
