Seven Sacred Pools is a very popular hike in Sedona. But, when I visited I was on the mend from a paw-injury so wasn't up for hiking to the pools (plus is was hot and crowded - not a Snow pup's cup of tea). Therefore, I just did the short jaunt to Devil's Kitchen Sinkhole.
This is on the trail leading to Seven Sacred Pools and is part of the Soldier Pass area of Sedona. This area is popular for off-roading (with a permit) and gives you the choice of short or long hikes, but either way you'll get a great view.
Note: There are parking restrictions at the trailhead and a shuttle that will drop you off; the shuttle service changes throughout the year, so check routes and rules before heading out.
Trail Overview

History
Devil’s Kitchen is one of seven sinkholes in the Verde Valley. There were two historic collapses, one in 1880s and a second in 1989, that resulted in the cavernous hole we now see.
1880s Collapse: This occurred at the southernmost side of the hole as shown by the rounded rock edges.
1989 Collapse: This occurred on the northern side of the hole with the wall detaching and enlarged the opening by 33%. The angular rock faces indicate this is the more recent collapse area.
Snow's Take
I recommend either getting a permit to do some off-roading and get farther away from the crowds or go early.
