I may be known for brewery hopping, but sometimes even this husky trades hops for grapes! When exploring Arizona’s wine country, I found a dog-friendly gem—Chateau Tumbleweed Winery & Tasting Room in Clarkdale, AZ.
Winery Overview
Location: Clarkdale, AZ
Vibe: Relaxed, welcoming, and pup-loving
Dog Rules: Dogs are welcome on the patio
Food: Charcuterie plates and small bites available for purchase
Alternative Drinks: Non-alcoholic options available
What to Expect
Chateau Tumbleweed was founded in 2011 by four friends who spent years in the wine industry before launching their own label. Their grapes come from across Arizona, with most vineyards in the southeast and some from the northern part of the state.
The tasting room has a laid-back atmosphere with plenty of Arizona pride in each pour. Even better? The staff adores pups—they bring out treatos for good dogs and even sell wine-themed dog toys. Throughout the year, they also host pup-friendly events, making this winery a great addition to your Arizona adventures.
Snow’s Take
I got spoiled with treatos while my humans sipped wine—what more could a pup ask for? I loved lounging on the patio, meeting other friendly faces, and soaking up the relaxed vibes. A winery that not only welcomes dogs but celebrates them? Two paws up from me!
