After exploring in the desert, my pack needed a refresher. And that means we hit the local brewery.
This brewery jumped out to us because it has a touch of history. The building was erected in 1928 as the Verde Baptist Church. It was known as “The Green Church on the Corner.” The church bells would rings to bring the community together and now, the brewery works to be a welcoming community space for travelers (like me!) and locals alike.
Brewery Overview
Location: Cottonwood, AZ
Vibe: Relaxed, historic, large patio where you can find shade
Dog Rules: Pups welcome on the patio
Food: On-site kitchen with table service
Alternative Drinks: Non-alcoholic and gluten-free options
What to Expect
The concrete patio has a good amount of space and was able to accommodate my large pack. We were there in the afternoon and there was plenty of shade. The staff was friendly and patient with our large group. But be prepared, a human needs to check in at the indoor host stand to get a seat on the patio. That means if your just a pup and one human, it can be difficult to navigate.
